Let's say people might think the discussion in it is boring because it digressed from what's important, you can introduce a red card and distribute it to the audience, and when that red card is raised by any of the audience members, you agree to halt the conversation and move on to the next topic without questions asked. This ensures that the audience doesn't lose interest, the conversation can be continued later and elsewhere.
